Anna Malaika Tubbs, author of The Three Mothers: How the Mothers of MLK Jr., Malcolm X, and James Baldwin Shaped a Nation, is a Cambridge Ph.D. candidate in Sociology and a Bill and Melinda Gates Cambridge Scholar, with a BA in Anthropology from Stanford and a Master's from the University of Cambridge in Multidisciplinary Gender Studies.
