Love Your Blackness 2022

$20.99

Being a black man is one of the worst things that can ever happen to you. Before you assume I am mistaken, put in your heart that every stat in the world is against the black man. We have the lowest life span of all genders and races. We are the poorest, unhealthiest, unhappiest (as reflected in the suicide rates), and we hold the crappiest jobs.

If you are a black man, your chances of succeeding in college or getting a foothold is slimmer than all others. There is proof that you will find it harder than other races to succeed. You will live under pressure, and uncertainties. It is not just you - black men all over the world are not spending their lives in their skins. The society has a compact brochure of what a black man should be. Society tells us the sort of job, games, and the kind of families we must make as blacks. Society also determines our sexual performance, our social behavior, etc. It happens in pure black and mixed communities as you are about to find out in this book.

Black men have the highest population in jail. Armed or unarmed, we are mobbed and murdered by the whites, the cops, and the blacks alike. We have an extremely high number of school dropouts, drug dealers, and the like. We do not deny the few fine men who do well in tech and other sectors, but the number is too meager to be considered success on our part.
So, why is this happening to black men?

  • What is happening to black men?

  • Why does the society preset so many standards we must meet?

  • Why do we suffer imposter syndrome, inferiority complexes, and fear among others?

  • Why can’t we compete with the rest of the world?

  • How did it all begin, why did it happen, and when is it going to stop?

On the totem pole of humanity, black men are the least important. We are considered the most violent, yet we are everyone’s prey. What exactly is the key reason that circumstances aren’t working in our favor? Can we ever put an end to it? This book attempts to solve every one of these riddles one step after the other.

In a practical, critical, and story-telling style, this book seeks to demystify the agelong speculation.
