The City of Wellness 2009

The City of Wellness grew out of the overwhelmingly positive response to the Heal Thyself national fasting crusades and my lifelong mission as a holistic health activist. During my thirty year watch from New York to Los Angeles, Detroit to Baton Rouge, Ghana to London, and countless communities in between, I have witnessed a common thread of dis-ease that impacts most of my clients and many participants in my lectures and workshops. Today this life threatening health crisis is spreading through the African American community like a twenty-first century "black plague".
